A recent survey of AAQEP members sheds light on cohorts, a popular innovation in the accreditation process of our 2-year-old organization, and offers guidance to staff in reconfiguring cohorts for the coming academic year.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: AAQEP has awarded full 7-year accreditation to educator preparation programs in Minnesota, New Hampshire, Texas, and Utah. The decisions coincide with the 2-year anniversary of the organization’s founding, in July 2017. The latest accredited providers are Abilene Christian University, College of St. Scholastica, Plymouth State University, and Western Governors University.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: AAQEP has completed its first-ever quality assurance reviews, awarding full 7-year accreditation to university-based programs in Arizona, Illinois, Minnesota, New York, and Utah. After reviewing the evidence collected through a process of self-study and peer review, the AAQEP Accreditation Commission decided in May to accredit programs at American InterContinental University (IL), Bemidji State University (MN), Clarkson University (NY), Grand Canyon University (AZ), and Utah State University.
