Making the Case for Quality 

Dig into the AAQEP standards in this interactive workshop!

After a brief overview of AAQEP’s expectations framework, process, and evidence requirements, we’ll begin exploring the types of evidence needed to document the performance of candidates and program completers for Standards 1 and 2. You and your colleagues (teams encouraged!) will consider the data you currently have available, discuss strategies for gathering new information from your graduates and their employers, and start winnowing the options down to a manageable set of measures.

Moving on to Standards 3 and 4, we’ll look at practical strategies for documenting specific program practices that promote candidate success, support completer career entry and growth, incorporate stakeholder perspectives, and ensure program capacity for quality. Get guidance on preparing an AAQEP Accreditation Proposal, and learn how to develop appendices to your Quality Assurance Report (self-study) that clearly connect to the AAQEP standards to interrogate existing program processes and inform success at a practical level.

Leave with an action plan that assists you in selecting and preparing your evidence set for accreditation.

This workshop is designed for providers actively pursuing AAQEP accreditation but is open to anyone interested in learning more about the system. This workshop is being hosted the University of Charleston and is open to anyone for registration. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

$325 per person (AAQEP member); $375 per person (nonmember)
Continental breakfast and lunch are included in the price.

Group Discount: Institutions/organizations that register 6 or more individuals at one time receive a 20% discount.
