New-Teacher Induction: Benefits of Collaborating to Support First-Year Teachers
Induction programs are frequently facilitated by P-12 districts in collaboration with local educator preparation programs to provide valuable support to first-year teachers. In this collaborative conversation, we’ll discuss how providers are:
  • Engaging with partners to identify needs of first-year teachers and partnering to fill identified gaps
  • Learning from this work to help inform their program’s continuous improvement
  • Leveraging this support in recruitment efforts for grad programs and mentor teachers
