Volunteer Training

A successful accreditation system depends on the expertise and generosity of its volunteer base. AAQEP calibrates training for all volunteers, including peer reviewers filling various roles as well as members of the Board of Directors and the Accreditation Commission.

Quality Assurance Symposium

Save the date for our third annual symposium: February 27, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Session proposals due July 31, 2019

We offer daylong interactive workshops on three topics:
1. Foundations of quality assurance, the AAQEP standards and process, and action steps to transition to the AAQEP system
2. Making the case for quality - a deeper dive into the standards, practical strategies for documenting evidence and using it for improvement, and guidance for completing an AAQEP proposal and self-study
3. Validity, reliability, and other core concepts related to data quality; ensuring evidence systems are accurate and equitable and support improvement
