Making the Case for Quality

Dig into the AAQEP standards in this interactive workshop!

After a brief overview of AAQEP’s expectations framework, process, and evidence requirements, you’ll explore practical strategies to support your case for meeting all aspects of the standards.

Discover how to use that evidence to plan and implement improvement steps, and get guidance on completing your AAQEP accreditation proposal and Quality Assurance Report (self-study).

This workshop is designed for providers actively pursuing AAQEP accreditation but is open to anyone interested in learning more about the system. To familiarize yourself with AAQEP before the workshop, you can view the recording and slides of an introductory webinar.

Learning From Data

What’s your action plan for data quality?

You can’t have quality assurance and quality improvement without evidence that is valid, reliable, fair, and trustworthy. This interactive workshop explores these core concepts of data quality, why they matter, and how to incorporate them in your AAQEP Quality Assurance Report (self-study).

Develop a plan for working with stakeholders to ensure that your evidence systems yield accurate and equitable accounts of program quality and can support innovations and significant improvement.

Bring copies of locally developed instruments you use in each of the following categories (if available):

  • An observation form or rubric
  • An alumni or employer survey or interview protocol

This workshop is tailored to AAQEP members but explores concepts that are useful to anyone working with assessment instruments in educator preparation. To familiarize yourself with AAQEP before the workshop, you can view the recording and slides of an introductory webinar.
