Professional Learning
To support professional learning around quality assurance and program improvement, AAQEP offers a variety of programming:
-
Member webinars and other no-cost virtual events convene on a regular basis to support AAQEP members and peer reviewers in their work. These presentations and meetings address topics such as proposals, self-studies, and site visits as well as ad hoc topics generated by the membership.
-
Public webinars about AAQEP, its standards, and its accreditation process are available monthly. These live virtual meetings present information and updates and include time for Q&A with AAQEP staff; recordings are also posted for ongoing reference.
-
Online workshops are open for public registration (AAQEP members receive a discount). Each virtual workshop, delivered in 3-hour Zoom sessions on two consecutive days, is offered three times per year.
-
In-person seminars are open for public registration (AAQEP members receive a discount). Each seminar provides two full days of workshops, either hosted on a campus or offered as part of the annual AAQEP Institute.
-
National events include two annual conferences: the AAQEP Institute in the fall and the Quality Assurance Symposium in the spring. Both conferences are open for public registration (AAQEP members receive a discount) and convene in rotating regions.
-
Consulting is available to individual educator preparation providers looking for customized support. Both on-site and remote consulting may be arranged with AAQEP senior staff members.
-
Publications are produced in collaboration with Myers Education Press and overseen by the AAQEP Editorial Board.
