Quality Assurance Symposium

Join us for the 10th annual AAQEP Quality Assurance Symposium, returning to Orlando's Florida Hotel and Conference Center April 1-2, 2027. Save with Early Bird pricing when you register by November 12.

The symposium is a national professional conference focused on practices, policies, and inquiry related to quality assurance and improvement in educator preparation, particularly related to AAQEP accreditation. Participation is open to anyone seeking to share and learn with the professional community, whether or not they are formally affiliated with AAQEP.

The main conference schedule for 2027 will run from 9:00 a.m. April 1 through 4:00 p.m. April 2. The agenda includes plenary keynotes, meals and networking, sponsor/vendor engagement, and peer-reviewed concurrent sessions highlighting the work of educator preparation programs and their partners on evidence-based improvement, research, data and assessment activities, and more.

In addition, five preconference activities are available on Wednesday, March 31 with separate registration through the links below:

1:00-4:00 – Educator Ethics Workshop and Discussion
1:00-4:00 – Data Lab with ETS

1:00-5:00 – Cross-State Convening (for SEAs)

The Events Committee manages peer review of sessions solicited via the call for proposals and advises on the overall conference offerings. Note to proposal authors: The Events Committee is currently completing peer review. Lead authors will be notified of their proposal's status by October 20.
