Misleading or Incorrect Statements Policy
Where an AAQEP member publicly discloses its accredited status, it must do so accurately and identify the specific programs that are accredited by AAQEP (see Public Reporting and Transparency Policy).
If AAQEP becomes aware that a member provider has misrepresented any action taken by AAQEP with respect to the member or its accredited status, or that the member has used accreditation reports or materials in a false or misleading manner, the member must correct the false or misleading information and make public such information that AAQEP deems necessary to correct any false or misleading impression created by the member. If the member fails to comply, then AAQEP will treat the failure as a complaint against the member and follow the procedures under the Complaint Policy, beginning with Step 3.
